SRI CHAKRA(Sri vidhya)- there is a saying never challenge a srividhya upasak

Sri Chakra puja is a part of the highest level of our religious practices. Sri Chakra is a sacred geometric pattern that sages of the Siddha Yoga lineage and their disciples have used to unravel secrets of the Universe for millennia. A diagram formed by interlocking 9 triangles radiating from a dot, it is a geometric pattern that is the key to mastering the science of creation (of what you want) and destruction (of what you don’t want).

It is just impossible for anyone of us to explicitly explain the majesty, supremacy and significance of the Sri Chakra in a brief write up but we will try our best to our limited extent, to explain some aspects about it. Some of the people who are well-acquainted with this spiritual geometric pattern are either associated with a yogi of the Siddha lineage, follow the Sri Vidya School of Tantra or are likely to be ardent devotees of Aadi Shakti, the Supreme Goddess.  Sri Chakra represents the microcosmic level of the Universe as well as the human body, each circuit in Sri Chakra corresponds to one of the chakras in the human body. An ever rotating and expanding Sri Chakra represents the universe. The sacred sound “AUM” creates a geometric pattern being the audio representation and Sri Chakra, being the visual representation. Sri Chakra is formed by the superimposition of the nine triangles a combination of female principles i.e., Sakthi, { the downward triangles } and the male principles i.e., {upright triangles} representing Siva. They are combinedly referred to as Siva Sakthi Aikya Swarupini. All 9 interlocking triangles lead to a creation of 43 smaller triangles, each one of these represents a deity associated with a certain aspect of existence. Sri Chakra is said to represent the infinite power of the Goddess. It is the geometric form of the Goddess Herself. Sri Chakra is not the creation of someone’s intellect or mere symbolic of Vedanta’s central lessons. The geometry, sages say, appeared to self-realized yogis in Samadhi.

Sri Chakra can be compared to a pilgrimage for a yogi. With each step, the yogi ascends from the base towards the center, ultimately uniting with the Universe. It is a Yogi’s spiritual journey from the earthly plane to final enlightenment from the outer triangles to the central dot { Bindhu } , i.e., the center of the Universe, the place of origin and unity, where one merges with the supreme consciousness. The mathematics involved in the creation of this geometrical calculation is so complex that present day researchers and mathematicians are often baffled how our Vedic people could have conceived it without the present day advanced knowledge of mathematics like Pi, Phi, Golden ratio or Fibonacci series etc., Computers can create such a pattern with great ease today but if someone were to do it on paper with no help from computers, it would take a lifetime of trials for a normal person! It is difficult to describe the exercise whether to call it as a divine creation or knowledge of high level of mathematics of our Yogis, who considered it as a tool to absorb the cosmic energy and raise their level of Universal consciousness.

Many of the aspects of Sri Chakra are considered to be “ Guhya” and are considered to be very confidential. Highly qualified and experienced Gurus will only teach the Sri Chakra mantras to their disciples after satisfying themselves about the capabilities and their assessment of commitment of the disciple.
