Goddess Kamalātmikā also known as Kamalā is the tenth of the DasaMahāvidyās. She is the Consort of Viṣhṇu and She is the only Mahāvidyā who is not directly related to Shiva. Kamala means lotus and hence she is also known as lotus goddess. She has four hands; in the rear two hands, she holds a lotus flower each and in the front hands she shows abhaya (removal of fear) and varada (conferring boons) mudras.
